Overview:

In September 2024, our Baja SAE team traveled to Holly, Michigan for the annual competition—a milestone moment for our program. We hadn't passed technical inspection since 2019, and the pandemic had created a significant gap in documentation and institutional knowledge.

Against those odds, we not only passed inspection but competed in the race itself.

As Drivetrain Lead, I oversaw the design, manufacturing, installation, and integration of all drivetrain systems—from the engine and CVT to the gearbox, differentials, and propshaft. Seeing years of engineering work come together on the track was incredibly rewarding and created memories I'll carry with me!
